In this post we'll learn how to crochet a twisted headband that is fun and quick to make. This diamond bobble twisted headband is a free crochet twisted headband pattern that is easy for beginners.

The techniques used in this crochet headband design are:- single crochet, double crochet and bobble stitch. And both ends of the bobble headband are joined together in a twisted way, which makes it trendy.

This pattern comes in 3 sizes:-

• Toddler-- fitting head circumference—18"-- 19"

• Child—fitting head circumference—20”--21"

• Adult—fitting head circumference—22”--23"

I will be working this diamond bobble twisted headband in adult size. The child & toddler size will be written separately below the adult size.

This crochet twisted headband pattern is adjustable. You can easily adjust it by adding a row or 2 at the beginning and at the end to increase the size for head circumference bigger than 23”. And decrease a row or 2 at the beginning and the end for head circumference less than 18”.

Materials used in this pattern

Yarn

• Alize cotton baby soft

• 50%cotton, 50%acrylic

• Wt.: 100g – 3.53OZ

• Length: 270mt - 295yds

Get The Pattern

Abbreviations

• Ch: chain

• st: stitch

• sc: single crochet

• dc: double crochet

• Rep: repeat

• Yo: yarn over

• RS: right side

• WS: wrong side

Special stitch

• Bobble stitch: *yo insert hook into st & pull up a loop, yo & pull through 2 loops on hook* rep. from *to* 6 more times in the same st. So you'll have 8 loops on hook. Yo & pull through all 8 loops on hook. ( Don’t ch after this, just go straight into your next st).

Row1: sc on the second ch from hook, sc all across. (Total 17 sc). Turn

Row2: ch2, dc all across. (Total 17dc). Turn

Row3-7: rep. row2

Row8: ch2, dc on the next 7sts, bobble st on the next st, dc on the next 8sts. (Total 1 bobble st & 16dc). Turn

Row9: rep. row2

Row10: ch2, dc on the next 4sts, *bobble st on the next st, dc on the next 5sts*, rep. from*to*one more time. (Total 2 bobbles & 15dc). Turn.

Row11: rep. row2

Row12: ch2, dc on the next 2sts, bobble st on the next st, *dc on the next 4sts, bobble st on the next st*, rep. from*to*one more time, dc on the last 3 sts. (Total 3 bobbles & 14dc). Turn.
