Mosaic Mitered Granny Pillow | Free Crochet Pillow Pattern

Mosaic Mitered Granny Pillow Pattern is a beautiful textured crochet pillow that adds beauty and warmth to your home decor.

When designing the Mosaic Mitered Granny Pillow pattern, I was obsessed with the texture that is created by the crochet mosaic granny square and the look of the mitered granny square.

So I think why not use both these beautiful crochet granny squares together to create a new pattern.

So I came up with this amazing crochet pillow pattern that is the combination of both mosaic and mitered granny squares.

This Mosaic Mitered Granny Pillow pattern is written in US terminology.

Round 1:With MC, ch3 (considered as dc here and throughout), 2dc within the ring, ch2, [ 3dc, ch2] 3 times, sl st in 3rd ch of the 1st dc, to join.

All the INSTRUCTIONS are similar to that of the Front panel but the only difference is that, when the instruction in front panel says fptc, in the back panel we change it to bptc. And if in front panel says bptc, in the back panel we change it to fptc.

I’ll work Row4 to make more clear.

Row4: ch4, [ in next ch-1 sp (dc, fptc around 2nd dc of Round 2, dc), ch1] 2 times, in next ch-2 sp (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch1, [ in next ch-1 sp (dc, fptc around 2nd dc of Round 2, dc), ch1] 2 times, dc in the 3rd ch of the 1st dc to join. Turn.

Seaming

• Put one panel RS facing and place the other panel on it with WS facing upward.

• Attach ( tie) yarn with the MC in one of the corners, and start seaming the three sides of each panel together leaving one side for inserting the stuffing.

• Using a hook seam both sides together ( insert hook in the front loop of one side and the back loop of the other side, yarn over hook, pull through 2, yarn over hook, pull through 2). I did this on each stitch and at the space, I just insert hook into the space of both panels and make single crochet.

• NOTE: you can use whatever technique you like for seaming panels together.

• Flip the case.

• Insert the stuffing ( Pillow).

• Using yarn needle seam the third side.

• Fasten off & weave in ends.
