Half Heart Pillows | Free Crochet Pattern
This crochet pattern design, consists of 2 crochet pillows. Each pillow has a design of half heart. When putting the 2 pillows beside each other, the 2 half hearts will join & make a heart ❤. This design could be a perfect handmade/ crochet gift for couples.

Yarn
• Alize cotton baby soft (2 skiens of white color, & 1 skien of red/maroon/burgundy as you prefer)
• Cotton 50% , acrylic 50%
• Wt. 100g – 3.53Oz

Abbreviations
• Ch = Chain
• Sc = Single crochet
• St = Stitch
• RS = Right side
• WS = Wrong side
• Rep = Repeat
• YO = Yarn over
Special stitches
• Bobble stitch = *yo, insert hook into the st & pull up a loop, yo & pull through 2loops on hook. * rep. from *to* 6times. So you'll have 8 loops on hook, yo & pull through all 8 loops on hook. So you'll have 1 loop on hook, then yo & pull through 1 loop , to fasten the bobble st.

• Loop stitch = wrap the yarn from front to back over the index finger of your yarn hand.
Insert the hook in the next st, grab the strand of yarn from behind your index finger, & draw the yarn through the st.
With the yarn loop still on your index finger, yo the hook & draw the yarn through the 2 loops on your hook.

Row8 (WS): with RED make sc in the next 2sts, bobble st in the next st ( I.e 3rd st), change to WHITE make sc in the next 66sts. Ch1, turn.
Row9: with WHITE make sc in the next 66sts, change to RED make sc in the last 3sts. Ch1, turn. (Total 69sts)
Row10: with RED make sc in the next 3sts, bobble st in the next st ( I.e. 4th st), change to WHITE make sc in the next 65sts. Ch1, turn.

Make ch 70, and from row1-7 the same as the above instruction for the first front panel.

Row9: with RED make sc in the next 3sts, change to WHITE make sc in the next 66sts. Ch1, turn. (Total 69sts).
So, you work the rows in this second front panel similar to the rows in the first front panel, but start working in opposite way, e.g. row8 in the first front panel we start working with RED and end the row with WHITE, BUT the same row in the second front panel, we start from the opposite, I.e. start with WHITE and end with RED.
I have worked row8 & row9, to make it clear for you.
So just keep working the same way till row 62

Finishing
Make sc all across both sides of each panel, I.e. make 62sc.
Seaming
Here's a video tutorial on how to seam two crochet panels together👇
• While the RS of the front panel is facing, place the back panel over the front panel. (Seam the front loop of one panel to the back loop of the other panel using a hook). Seam the 3 sides & leave one side not seamed, for inserting the stuffing through.
Fasten off & weave in ends.
• Flip the case, so RS is out, insert the stuffing & seam that side. (While seaming the side which is left for inserting the stuffing through, seam the back loop of one panel to the front loop of the other panel together using a yarn needle).
Fasten off & weave in ends.
